Since 1990, actors from the A.R.T Institute for Advanced Theatre Training have annually introduced thousands of Boston's elementary and middle school students to the magic of live theater with The Island of Anyplace.
Jennifer's father has dragged her to the theater when she'd much rather be elsewhere. But when she runs up on stage and starts to make up her own play, her father becomes a magician and helps her bring it to life. Jennifer's story features interesting people, creatures and adventures. The Island of Anyplace introduces acting, directing, sets, lighting, costumes, makeup, sound effects and more.
"Any kid would be delighted to travel to the Island of Anyplace. A map to the abracadabras that make life on the stage register more vivid than ordinary life."
- The Boston Globe
